OCEAN CITY, NJ — Voters went to the polls Tuesday to elect one City Council At-Large seat and one representative from each of the four wards.

Voter turnout was 33.52 percent for the nonpartisan municipal election, according the unofficial results from the clerk's office.

Nine candidates sought five open seats, and the contested races were close, according to the unofficial numbers. These counts include vote-by-mail received before the polls closed and the Election Day voting tally.

You can see the unofficial results below, according to the last update at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, with all districts reporting. Official results will be posted May 22.

  • Terry Crowley, Jr. - 659 votes

2nd Ward Council

  • Keith P. Hartzell - 353 votes
  • Paul Stryker - 302 votes

3rd Ward Council

  • Jody Levchuk - 391 votes
  • Amie L. Vaules - 389 votes

4th Ward Council

  • Cecilia Gallelli-Keyes - 380 votes
  • David C. Winslow - 512 votes

Council At-Large

  • Sean C. Barnes - 1,778 votes
  • Michael DeVlieger - 1,261 votes
