Ocean City Named A Top 10 Jersey Shore Beach Town

OCEAN CITY, N.J. — You might remember it was Coastal Living Magazine who labeled Ocean City as "America's Happiest Seaside Town" last June. The magazine recently named Ocean City one of its 10 Best Beach Towns on the Jersey Shore.

"From your first glimpse of the Giant Wheel—a 90-foot-high Ferris wheel with views of the Atlantic City skyline from the top—you know you're in for plenty of old-fashioned fun right out of a vintage postcard," Galina Espinoza of Coastal Living writes.

The publication posts an insider's guide to each town listed. Ocean City's includes hitting up Gillian's Wonderland Pier, picking up homemade fudge or saltwater tafy at Shriver's, and staying the night at family-owned Osborne's Inn. They also gave a shoutout to the Ocean City Pops.

Coastal Living's top 10 list doesn't rank each beach town. They only list them in alphabetical order. But the publication holds Ocean City in high regard, naming it America's Happiest Seaside Town of 2018 and recognizing it in 2016 as America's No. 1 beach.
