Ocean City Nor'easters Spring Outdoor Soccer Program Begins May 5

The program runs once a week for players through eighth grade.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Nor'easters men’s soccer club’s spring outdoor recreation soccer program runs from May 5 through June 16 at Richard Grimes Field. It is open to all players through the eighth grade, the club announced on Monday.

Each session will be one hour and will take place once per week with the goal of developing basic soccer skills and technical ability through fun activities, drills, and scrimmages.

The camps will take place on Saturdays and will be taught by members of the Ocean City Nor'easters' coaching staff, and assisted by players from the Nor'easters' Premier Development League (PDL) team.

"The Nor'easters are happy to continue our rec program outside after our indoor session is completed," Nor'easters General Manager Giancarlo Granese Jr. said. "We look forward to having all the kids interact with the PDL players once they arrive in the beginning of May. We also look forward to growing the strong bond between the club and the community because without them, there would be no Nor'easters club."

Registration is open for the outdoor program at a cost of $60. The camp is open to kids as early as pre-kindergarten, up through 8th grade. All registered players will receive a t-shirt and a complimentary ticket to an upcoming Ocean City Nor'easters PDL game.
