Ocean City Patch Letter to the Editor: Politicians Will Stop At Nothing To Get Pipeline Through The Pine Barrens
Steven Fenichel responds to a recent ruling tying approval of the proposed pipeline to its review of non-compliant buildings in Tuckahoe.

Dear Editor:
So to get this straight, the Upper Township politicians violated the Pinelands’ CMP. Now all they have to do is apply for a request to undo their violation which may be voted on by Christie’s “stacked” Commission.
With new appointees such as Sen. Van Drew’s Robert Barr, their pipe dreams are shaping up. Then as a final absurdity, the Pinelands’ Commission staff led by their ethically challenged Executive Director Wittenberg are given the final decision on SJ Gas’ ratepayers shouldering the pipeline costs.

And then the last hoped-for-piece of this ugly little scheme: big money fossil fuel $$$$ for the campaigns of President Christie, Congressman Van Drew, and Governor Sweeney.
Hopefully the people wake up before this nightmare becomes a reality.
