Ocean City Patch Letter To The Editor: Politicians Who Sue Critics Should Stay Out Of Public Arena

To the Editor:

Pinelands Commissioner Jane Jannarone seems to be taking a page out of Mr. Trump's book. If anyone dares to criticize her behavior they are threatened with a lawsuit.

Thin skinned people like Ms. Jannarone and Mr. Trump should never have ventured into the rough and tumble world of politics. Better they stuck to the business of real estate for the public good as well as their own.

Ms. Jannarone now has 14 lawsuits against people who feel she violated her oath of office as a Pinelands Commissioner to " Protect, Enhance and Preserve the NJ Pinelands by her vote to approve the SJ Gas pipeline.

Is this the future of America's democracy? Will people's voices be silenced from the local to the national level if they disagree with their representatives? This is chilling!

This attempt of political intimidation must be resisted by all freedom loving people! Our democracy is too precious.
