Ocean City PD Keeping Extra Eyes On Beach Boozing
Ocean City police have received several reports of alcohol consumption on the beach.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Police Department will increase patrols to ensure nobody drinks or possesses alcohol on the beach. The OCPD said they've received numerous reports of residents and guests of all ages boozing on the beach.
Drinking on Ocean City beaches carries a $275 fine.
"The ordinance applies to all on the beach. Local or guest..new to the drinking game or experienced pros....everyone," Ocean City PD wrote on its Facebook page.

OCPD reiterates that for non-emergent complaints, call the police department at 609-399-9111.
