Ocean City Police To Step Up DWI Enforcement Thanksgiving Weekend

Police will keep an eye out for drunk drivers.

Ocean City, NJ -- Make sure you’re able to drive before you get behind the wheel this Thanksgiving Weekend.

Ocean City Police will have roving patrols that will be on the lookout for drunk drivers, Capt. Steven Ang said Wednesday morning.

There will be two additional officers on roving patrol Wednesday night, he said.

Ocean City is a dry town, and there are no DWI checkpoints set up. Still, police will be on the lookout for anyone who may have had too much wine with their turkey and decided they were OK to drive anyway.

With services like Uber, Sober Sam and others, there’s no reason to drink and drive.
