Ocean City Pops Summer Season Kicks Off This Weekend

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Pops are kicking off their summer season this Sunday with a modern twist on swing music.

This special show features legendary swing band Big Bad Daddy Voodoo. Enjoy this American musical style by an iconic band for all ages.

"Taking inspiration from the creators of this uniquely American art form, the band's original horn-infused music and legendary high-energy show introduces the genre to a new and younger generation, while remaining respectful of the music's rich legacy," is how Ocean City described the show.

"If you’ve never been to a Pops show, you should check out this great local orchestra this Sunday or this summer," Mayor Jay Gillian said.
