Clear skies and warm weather made Saturday a great day for the event.
The junior-senior prom of Ocean City High School went over with great success Saturday night.
Students enjoyed walking the red carpet, meeting friends, and dancing the night away at the Flanders Hotel.
At 11 p.m., students were taken by school bus to Ocean City High School where they arrived to an "out of this world" themed party.

Volunteers dressed as NASA employees gave clues to students in order to win the main game of the evening. The prize was $150.
Other games were stationed along the hallways that were decorated with space attire, planets, and aliens. Each game was played for 1 minute and upon winning the student would either receive one dollar or a pull from a basket stating the prize.

In addition to all of the games, there was a powered toilet seat racing game, an obstacle course, face painting, the air flow cash vault, roulette and food donated by local businesses. Among the senior raffle prizes were an iPad 2, a laptop, dorm bedroom sets, and more electronics.
With cash prizes, good food, great games and karaoke, most of the students stayed until 4 a. m., which is what was intended.
