Ocean City School District Hires Six New Teachers

There are four new high school teachers, as well as new teachers at the Intermediate and Primary schools.

The Ocean City School District hired six new teachers for the upcoming school year.

The new hires include:

Daniel Calhoun, Primary School Teacher of Health & Physical Education: a former Williamstown teacher who earned various degrees and certificates from the University of North Carolina, Rowan University and Gloucester County College.

Karyn Daily, Intermediate School Teacher of Spanish: a Rutgers University graduate who studied in Spain and spent last school year at both the Ocean City High School and the Ocean City Intermediate School as a leave replacement teacher and an interim teacher.

Jenna McCoy, High School Teacher of English: a Richard Stockton College of New Jersey graduate who has taught in Edison and a juvenile detention center.

Abby Mullen, High School Teacher of Health & Physical Education: a graduate of West Virginia University and coach of the South Jersey Devils lacrosse team.

Patricia Pepe, High School Teacher of Special Education: a graduate of Western Maryland College who earned her Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, she was a 2013-2014 interim at the Ocean City High School where she taught Special Education English.

Corrine Schultheis, High School Teacher of Family and Consumer Science: a certified personal trainer and University of Maryland graduate.
