Ocean City Schools Adopts New Notification System
The district switched to SwiftK12, which will make it easier to contact families about school closures and other info.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City School District switched to a new notification system for updates. The SwiftK12 system will allow parents and guardians to receive info through their phone, email or text messaging.
It is important to keep your contact info up-to-date at all time. SwiftK12 is integrated through the existing PowerSchool Parent Portal.
If you log on to the Portal, you'll see a new link called "SwiftReach SwiftK12" on the left-navigation menu under "Alerting." Then click "contact information" in the top navigation to see all your contact info the school has.

Calls will come from school phone numbers. Text messages will be sent from 99538. You will not be able to replay to texts.
You can set alert preferences for info such as school closures and attendance, as well as how you'd like to receive messages. You can opt out of anything except emergency messages. which will be sent through all three message types.
