Ocean City Schools Introduce $4 Million Budget With Tax Rate Decrease
Taxes would be reduced by one-third of a cent, according to the Ocean City Gazette.
The Ocean City Board of Education approved a proposed $41 million budget in which taxes would be reduced by one-third of a cent this week, the Ocean City Gazette reports.
The total tax levy is $24.6 million, and the tax rate for the average home assessed at $500,000 will decrease by $16.54, according to the report.
The public hearing is scheduled for April 29.
