Ocean City Seeks Lifeguard Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to lead guided beach walks throughout the remainder of the summer.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Volunteers are needed to lead guided beach walks throughout the remainder of the summer, Ocean City officials announced this week. Applicants should have knowledge of the local flora, fauna and environment. The walks are held on the following schedule:

South end: At 59th Street and Central Avenue (entrance to Corson’s Inlet State Park) on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.;

North end: At the Ocean City/Longport Bridge parking lot on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m, and Wednesdays at 9 a.m.
