Ocean City Seeks Volunteers For Healthy Living Advisory Council

The council develops, endorses, sponsors and provides information on community health and fitness activities.

Ocean City, NJ -- Ocean City is seeking volunteers to fill seats on its Healthy Living Advisory Council, officials announced Thursday morning.

"This council develops, endorses, sponsors and provides information on community health and fitness activities to encourage wider participation in good health practices," officials said. "Up to 20 members are appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of City Council. Appointments are for three-year terms."

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Ocean City Free Public Library, 5:15 p.m.
