Ocean City Surf Contests Begin July 11

Ocean City, NJ -- A summer of contests sponsored by the Ocean City Surfing Association commences July 11.

The annual event is open to all boys and girls age 14 and younger. The free contest runs for three weeks, and surfers accumulate points -- with awards given out to the top participants at the end of the final week.

The event is at the Seventh Street Beach over the course of three consecutive Mondays: July 11, 18 and 25, 4 p.m. each day. No-wave dates will be determined.

Registration is at the Seventh Street Beach. A parent or guardian’s signature is needed the first week, but there is no charge.
