Ocean City Theatre Company Announces Packed Autumn and Holiday Schedule
It's schedule includes the Holiday Spectacular, a South Jersey premier and the annual Halloween Party.

The Greater Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) announced its packed autumn and holiday programming Sunday night.
OCTC will perform four shows, including its annual Holiday Spectacular and a South Jersey premier. It will also hold its annual Halloween party.
“In order to pull off this demanding schedule, we will rely on new and old fans of OCTC to help make this ambitious shoulder season a success,” OCTC Artistic Director Michael Hartman said. “Our productions and educational programs will boost tourism and overall activity in Ocean City with hundreds of people traveling to America’s Greatest Family Resort to see one of our shows or participate in one of our educational experiences.”

On Oct. 9, 10, and 11, OCTC will present the musical-revue “Forever Plaid” at the Ocean City Music Pier.When four young singers are killed in a car crash, they posthumously take the stage for one final gig in this goofy 1950’s nostalgia trip. The students of OCTC will take to the Music Pier stage on Oct. 23 and 24 to perform “Shuddersome: Tales of Poe.” Specters, ghosts, and ghouls come alive in this vivid theatrical adaptation of some of Edgar Allan Poe’s best-known works. Students in 6th-12th grades will bring to life The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, and The Masque of the Red Death. Tickets are now on sale for $10 per person.

OCTC will host its third annual Halloween Costume Party on Oct. 30 at the Ocean City Yacht Club.Tickets are $65 per person and $75 after Oct. 10. OCTC’s professional Holiday Spectacular is set for Dec. 11, 12, 13, 18 and 20. OCTC will perform the high-energy, song and dance musical revue, “Swingin’ Into the Holidays” at the Ocean City Music Pier. Tickets are now on sale via www.ocnj.us/boxoffice.
OCTC will produce the South Jersey premier production of the musical “Elf Junior” for students in 3rd – 8th grades. Auditions for students who enjoy musical theatre will be on Oct. 10, and the production will take place on Dec. 19 at the Music Pier.
