Ocean City Theatre Company Opens Auditions For 2 Summer Youth Shows
Students in grades 5-12 can audition for summer productions at the Ocean City Music Pier.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City Theatre Company has announced auditions for its 2026 Junior Company, with tryouts scheduled for May 2 and 3, 2026, in Ocean City.
According to the announcement, students are invited to audition for the company’s summer season, which will include two productions: "Disney’s High School Musical JR." and "FAME!" OCTC said its Junior Company gives young performers training in acting, singing and dance while they work with directors, choreographers and music directors.
Students in ninth through 12th grade as of fall 2026, along with current high school seniors and members of the Class of 2026, will audition for "FAME!" Performances of that show are scheduled for July 17 and 18 at the Ocean City Music Pier.

Students in fifth through eighth grade as of fall 2026 will audition for "Disney’s High School Musical JR". Performances for that production are set for Aug. 28 and 29 at the Ocean City Music Pier.
The announcement says participants need to attend only one audition day and do not have to go to both May 2 and May 3. OCTC called the program a “supportive and inspiring environment” for young performers during the summer season.
