Ocean City Tourism Commission Approves $735K Budget

The budget includes money for an e-marketing campaign and TV ads, according to the Ocean City Gazette.

Ocean City, NJ -- The Ocean City Tourism Development Commission approved its $735,000 budget at its meeting on Thursday morning, Dec. 1, the Ocean City Gazette reports.

The budget is paid for by fees collected from residents who rent their homes and local businesses.

The budget includes $106,000 for an e-marketing campaign designed to drive more traffic to oceancityvacation.com, according to the report. The city’s tourism website saw an increase of 91 percent in traffic this year.
