Ocean City Under Flood Watch Through Saturday Morning

The NWS predicts 1 to 3 inches of rain during this storm.

OCEAN CITY, N.J. — The National Weather Service posted a flash flood warning that covers Ocean City in effect for 2 p.m. Friday through Saturday morning. The NWS expects showers and some thunderstorms to move across South Jersey on Friday afternoon.

The storm could leave areas with 1 to 3 inches of rain, the NWS said. Mayor Jay A. Gillian said in a note Thursday to stay posted on updates and monitor conditions.
