Ocean City Voted 2nd Favorite Beach In NJ
USA Today readers decided that this beach is better than Ocean City, which was named the second-best in the state:
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City visitors and residents alike agree that it's the best beach in New Jersey.
And they have the results to back it up: Ocean City is hoping to be named the best NJ beach for the 11th year in a row, and numerous other sites and polls have agreed that Ocean City is number one. Except for a recent poll.
The USA Today Reader's Choice poll ended with Ocean City in second place. The first place winner? The Wildwoods.

USA Today says "Ocean City is a beloved, family-friendly coastal hub that attracts multi-generational visitors year after year." The news outlet notes the "legendary" Boardwalk stretches alongside miles of sandy beaches.
"Visitors adore swimming, wading in the waves, and lying on the sandy shore along the lifeguard-monitored beaches," USA Today wrote.

But that wasn't enough for readers, who put the Wildwoods on top. Another nearby beach is in third place: Sea Isle City.
