Ocean City's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

OCEAN CITY, NJ — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Ocean City so you can start planning now.

What: Fourth of July Celebration

Where: Boardwalk

When: 9 p.m.

Independence Day festivities in Ocean City open July 3 with "A Star-Spangled Banner Spectacular." Join Maestro Vince Lee and the Ocean City Pops to celebrate the birth of the United States. Enjoy heart-warming favorites, patriotic classics and a salute the our troops. The performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. July 3 at the Ocean City Music Pier. Tickets: $25/20. July 4 begins with the Bike Parades. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Longport Bridge Parking Lot for the parade sponsored by the Garden Civic Association. Registration takes place at the same time at 40th and Asbury Ave. for the parade sponsored by the South OC Improvement Association. Parades starts at 10 a.m. For more information call 609-399-6111.

At 7 p.m. July 4, a kite-flying competition will take place, followed by entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier.
