Ocean City High School senior Christian Baumgardner has one less thing to worry about heading into his final season with the Red Raiders football team.
The 6’5”, 235-pound tight end has committed to attend the University of Virginia, the Ocean City Gazette reports.
He chose Virginia, which hopes to get him up to between 250 and 255 pounds, over Colgate, Connecticut, Lehigh, Maine, New Hampshire, Old Dominion, Rhode Island and William & Mary, according to the report.

He had 18 catches for 140 yards and a touchdown in a junior season that was shortened by four games due to injury.
