Ocean City's Guarded Beaches To Open For Season

And don't forget to get a beach tag before the price goes up in June.

OCEAN CITY, N.J. — The Ocean City Beach Patrol will guard several city beaches beginning Memorial Day Weekend (Friday, May 25). Beaches will include St. Charles Place, Brighton Place, 8th Street, 9th Street, 10th Street, 11th Street, 12th Street, 26th Street, 34th Street and 58th Street.

The OCBP urges bathers to only swim at guarded beaches. Beaches are guarded from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekends and holidays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. More beaches will be added throughout the following weeks.

And don't forget to get your seasonal beach tags before the price goes up in June. They cost $20 now and go for $25 beginning June 1. Tags are available online at www.ocnj.us/beachtags and at eight locations in Ocean City.
