Ocean City's New Trash Pickup Schedule, Effective Sept. 9, 2019
Ocean City returns to a weekly trash and recycling pickup schedule Monday.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City returns to a once-a-week trash and recycling pickup schedule on Monday, rather than twice a week.
The off-season trash and recycling collection schedule is:
- Monday: South side of 34th Street to 59th Street
- Tuesday: South side of 17th Street to north side of 34th Street
- Wednesday: South side of 9th Street to north side of 17th Street
- Thursday: South side of 3rd Street to north side of 9th Street
- Friday: Longport Bridge to north side of 3rd Street

- containers must be 32 gallons or less
- recycling and yard waste can't be placed in plastic bags
- recycling and yard waste must be in labeled containers
