The Ocean City Board of Realtors and REACH are collecting "Blessing Bags" for people battling addiction.

The Ocean City Board of REALTORS are collecting "Blessing Bags" for people battling addiction. But they'll need residents' help in spreading those blessings. OCBOR requests the following donations:
- Snack size, individually wrapped items such as Pop-tarts, crackers, chips, pretzels, cookies, cereal bars, granola bars, Nutri-grain bars, apple sauce, pudding cups, fruit cups, candy, drink boxes, small water bottles, Capri sun or Yoo-hoo drinks, and gallon-sized Ziploc plastic bags.
- Socks, new underwear, peanut butter & jelly, backpacks, toothbrushes, and trial sized-deodorants, toothpaste, toiletries, soap, and shower gel.
You can drop off donations at OCBOR's office on 405 22nd St., open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. OCBOR will hold a party to assemble Blessing Bags at their office Jan. 24 at 4 p.m.
OCBOR and the Real Estate Alliance for Charities (REACH) — a nonprofit OCBOR formed — have teamed up with Angels in Motion on this mission. Angels in Motion is a Philadelphia-based organization focused on helping people struggling with addiction.
