Ocean Wind 1 Hearing To Be Held On Green Acres Easements

Interested community members will be able to listen in, but not participate, as involved parties make their arguments.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Another public meeting for Ocean Wind 1 will be held on June 24 at 10 a.m., the Board of Public Utilities announced.

As with the last meeting, this one will focus on easements across Green Acres properties and whether they are "reasonably necessary." However, while community members will be able to join the hearing and listen, they will not be allowed to comment.

Two hearings were previously held in May, where many Ocean City residents voiced their opposition to the project.
