Offseason Trash And Recycling Schedule In Ocean City Resumes Sept. 11

OCEAN CITY, NJ — In the off-season, trash and recycling is collected once a week in Ocean City. This schedule takes effect on Monday, Sept. 11, city officials said this week. The schedule is as follows:

  • Monday: South side of 34th Street to 59th Street
  • Tuesday: South side of 17th Street to north side of 34th Street
  • Wednesday: South side of 9th Street to north side of 17th Street
  • Thursday: South side of 3rd Street to north side of 9th Street
  • Friday: Longport Bridge to north side of 3rd Street

Ocean City uses a single-stream recycling system in which paper, plastic, cans and glass is placed in one container that is 32-gallons or smaller. Recycling and yard waste can’t be placed in labeled containers.
