Offshore Wind Public Hearing Postponed In Ocean City
The Green Acres hearing set for Oct. 3 at the Flanders Hotel has been postponed due to the coastal flood warning, officials said.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — An offshore wind hearing set for Monday evening in Ocean City has been postponed, officials said.
The public hearing, originally scheduled for 6 p.m. on Oct. 3 a the Flanders Hotel, is to discuss easements through Green Acres land for the Ocean Wind 1 offshore wind project. Read More: Offshore Wind Public Hearing To Be Held In Ocean City
However, due to the coastal flood warning issued by the National Weather Service and "concern for the safety of the public," this hearing has been postponed, according to the Ocean City Department of Community Services.

The rescheduled date has not been announced yet. However, the new hearing will be published in accordance with Green Acres rules on the Ocean Wind 1 website, and on the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection website.
