Olympic Gold Medalists To Participate In Ocean City Gymnastics Expo

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Olympic gymnastics gold medalists Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson will visit Ocean City this fall. They will be part of the Gymnastics Expo on the Music Pier on Sept. 16. The Expo is open to all young gymnasts and will include a question-and-answer session, tips on skills and an array of vendors.

Liukin is the 2008 Olympic individual all-around champion, and she has nine World Championship medals. She was the 2016 Night in Venice grand marshal in Ocean City.

Johnson was the 2008 Olympic balance beam gold medalist and team, all-around and floor exercise silver medalist.

There are two sessions from which to choose: 9 a.m. to noon; or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes before each session.
