Popular Ocean City Bagel Shop Opens New Somers Point Location

SOMERS POINT, NJ — Dead End Bakehouse, the popular Ocean City bagel shop, is expanding its operations with a new location in Somers Point.

The new establishment is situated at 746 Shore Road, directly across from City Hall and down the street from Shore Medical Center.

The new Somers Point location will have a soft opening scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13. This initial opening will allow customers to visit the new space, purchase sandwiches and see the new facilities. In a social media post, the bagel shop indicated this period is for "getting our feet wet."

Dead End Bakehouse in Somers Point will host a grand opening on is Friday, Feb. 20, at 7 a.m.. During this grand opening event, the first 50 customers will receive gift bags. These gift bags will contain random prizes, which may include free t-shirts, coffee mugs or gift cards ranging in value from $10 to $100.

In addition to the gift bags, five random customers will have the opportunity to win free breakfast sandwiches for a year. This prize is valued at $500. The bagel shop encourages community members to mark their calendars and attend the opening events.
