Red Raiders Football Game Set for Friday Night
Red Raiders wanted to push the game back to Saturday.
Turns out it will be Senior Night, not Senior Day, after all.
The Ocean City High School football game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. on Oct. 7 against Millville, and that's where it stays.
The Red Raiders wanted to push back the game to Saturday afternoon, since they played a game for the second consecutive Monday.

However, it takes two to change the schedule, and Ocean City didn't get a response back from the Millville High School Athletic Department.
Millville Director of Athletics David LaGamba couldn't be reached for comment.

So the game is still on for Friday night. It will be the second straight week the Red Raiders play a Friday night game after finishing up a game on the previous Monday due to lightning.
"I think best case scenario would be to have a solid week of practice to properly prepare physically and mentally," Ocean City Athletic Director Christine Lentz said. "It's the second week in a row we had this, and the schedule is set. It didn't work out for us this time."
