Revel Bidder Says Parts of Property Could Reopen Within Weeks
An auction is set for Sept. 24, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

The Revel Casino Hotel is set for auction Sept. 24, and the sole bidder on the property says parts of it can be opened within a matter of weeks, The Press of Atlantic City reports.
Glenn Straub’s prospective deal doesn’t require him to build a casino on the property. He told The Press he plans to have a casino there, but it won’t be the main draw.
While Straub’s company is the only official bidder, there are other possibilities, according to the report. The Revel’s previous owners plan to surrender their casino license.
