Members of the Gangs, Guns and Narcotics task force along with members of the Middle Township Police Department then executed a court authorized search warrant at Ginyard’s residence at the Shelton Motel. A vehicle was also searched.

As a result of the searches, investigators allegedly seized a distribution amount of heroin with an estimated street value of $4,000, and $1,800 in cash that will be submitted for forfeiture as being proceeds to the distribution of narcotics.

The arrest was the conclusion of a cooperative investigation between the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force and the Middle Township Police Department, and the search warrants were executed as part of a one-month investigation into the distribution of heroin stemming from this property.

This investigation is currently still ongoing with additional suspects to be charged.

Ginyard was processed and released on a summons pending court proceedings.

Anyone convicted of a third degree crime faces 3 to 5 years in New Jersey State Prison.

Taylor stated that his office will continue to work hand in hand with the local municipalities to target anyone selling illegal controlled dangerous substances.

Taylor urges the citizens of Cape May County to report any information regarding illegal drug activity and or any criminal activity within the community.
