Ron Jon Surf Shop To Open In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ron Jon Surf Shop will open an Ocean City location. There is no target date for opening yet, as the business is in the early stages of settling into Ocean City.

The surfing chain will open a store on Asbury Avenue and 8th Street. Ron Jon Surf Shop didn't have many details about the store yet.

"As we move down the road, we'll have more details," marketing director Heather Lewis told Patch.

The shop will add another surf store to an island that has several, such as 7th Street Surf Shop and Surfers Supplies.

The "Original" Ron Jon Surf Shop opened on Long Beach Island in 1961. The Ship Bottom location is currently Ron Jon's only New Jersey store.
