Run For The Fallen Goes Through Ocean City Thursday
Run team members will pay tribute to fallen military at 12 markers throughout Ocean City.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The annual New Jersey Run for the Fallen will take place Thursday in Ocean City and throughout Cape May County. The New Jersey Run for the Fallen is an organization of military runners and support crews who run one mile for each New Jersey service member who died during the War on Terror.
Ocean City's American Legion Morvay-Miley Post 524 has been an integral part of the event since it began 11 years ago. The run through New Jersey takes place the last Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of September.
Although they run one mile for every fallen hero, the total run represents all every fallen service member from New Jersey.
