School Board Honors Champions of Winter Sports and Academics

At a meeting on Wednesday, the Board of Education recognized students for their achievements.

By any measure, Ocean City High School had a great winter in sports and academics.

The winter track and field team, girls' basketball team and girls' swim team enjoyed championship seasons. Two wrestlers achieved individual triumphs. And a handful of students were finalists in a national essay contest.

The Ocean City Board of Education took time out before its meeting Wednesday to recognize the students for their achievements.
