Second Quarter Taxes In Ocean City Due May 1

Taxes can be paid in person and online.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Second-quarter taxes are due by May 1, with a 10-day grace period, Ocean City officials reminded residents on Monday. Postmarks are not accepted in accordance with state tax laws, so the payment must be received by the city no later than May 10.

Anyone using the bill pay feature through their bank should allow 7-10 days for their payment to reach the city because it requires a check to be sent to the city. Taxes can be paid online by visiting the Tax Collection page on the Ocean City website. Payments made through the website are deposited directly into the city’s bank account.

The Tax Collection office is located at 861 Asbury Avenue, and it is open from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. The phone number is 609-525-9379.
