The U.S. Coast Guard made a pretty big catch off the Jersey Shore on Monday.
Coast Guard and Marine Mammal Rescue Center personnel released a dolphin back to sea approximately 5 miles off Cape May Inlet Monday afternoon.
The dolphin had become beached off Hereford Inlet near Wildwood Monday morning. Personnel from the Marine Mammal Stranding Center out of Brigantine recovered the beached dolphin and provided it necessary medical attention, according to the Coast Guard.

MMSC personnel rode along on Station Cape May's 45-foot Response Boat-Medium to release the dolphin back into open waters.
