Shows And Family Fun In Ocean City: Monday Manual

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Welcome to the Aug. 22 edition of Monday Manual, highlighting important and fun events going on this week in Ocean City.

Aug. 22

Enjoy Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band at 7 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier.

Aug. 23

Enjoy family fun at Asbury Avenue with Funtastic Tuesdays. Entertainment, face painting and balloon sculptors are available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It's Mummers Night on the Boardwalk, so get ready to strut 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. from 6th Street to 14th Street.

Aug. 24

The weekly Farmers Market is held at Tabernacle Grounds from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crafters are in the street at 6th and Asbury Avenue.

In this week's Wacky Wednesday, participants will sculpt Shriver's salt water taffy into a masterpiece, from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Music Pier.

The Ocean City Zoning Board meets at 7 p.m.

The Ocean City POPS Presents AVA Superstars at the Music Pier at 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 25

Enjoy Market Days on Asbury Avenue with fun from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then the family can have fun at Family Nights with entertainment on the Boardwalk from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. between 6th Street and 14th Street.

The Ocean City Council meets at 7 p.m. As of Sunday evening, no agenda has been posted.

Aug. 26

On Aug. 26 and 27, Ocean City Theatre Company's Middle School Junior Company puts on "Shrek the Musical Jr." at the Music Pier at 7:30 p.m.
