Singer-Songwriter Conference & Showcase Set For Cape May

CAPE MAY, NJ — The annual Singer-Songwriter of Cape May Conference & Showcase is scheduled for March 27–28, 2026, according to a news release.

This two-day event will bring music, learning and connections to Congress Hall and other venues in downtown Cape May. The conference takes place in Congress Hall’s Grand Ballroom and Harrison Conference Center.

More than 50 industry professionals are expected to participate as speakers, mentors, and talent scouts. Attendees can participate in music business panels, clinics, workshops and mentoring sessions. The event aims to provide insight into songwriting, performance, publishing and recording for artists.

Peter Mroz, a soulful singer-songwriter, is set to deliver a keynote address on Friday, March 27. Maya de Vitry, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and producer, will provide a keynote address on Saturday, March 28. Both artists are recognized for their work in the music industry.

In addition to the daytime programming, the Singer-Songwriter of Cape May Showcase will offer live music across multiple venues. Participating locations include the Ballroom at Congress Hall, Carney’s, Delaney’s Irish Pub & Grill, Elaine’s, Fins Bar & Grille, Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille, Oyster Bay Bar & Restaurant, Rusty Nail, The Bees Knees at Marquis de Lafayette, The Inn of Cape May Ballroom, The Inn of Cape May Lobby and The Mad Batter. This aims to create an immersive experience for attendees.

John Harris, founder of Singer-Songwriter of Cape May, noted the event's location.

"Cape May has always been a place where creativity and community come together," Harris said.

He added that the conference provides artists a chance to learn from industry leaders and build connections.
