Speed Restrictions In Place As Snow Falls Across South Jersey

Several speed restrictions are in place Saturday morning as snow blankets the region.

According to 511nj.org, the speed limit is 35 mph on the Garden State Parkway in both directions from Southern Terminus/CR 109 in Cape May to New York State Line in Montvale due to road conditions and salting operations. Drivers should use caution.

The speed limit is 45 mph on the New Jersey Turnpike in both directions from Delaware River Bridge in Burlington Township to New Jersey Turnpike North in Mansfield Township due to salting operations.

The speed limit on the Ben Franklin Bridge is 25 mph and the footwalks are closed in both directions due to the weather. It is also 25 mph on the Walt Whitman Bridge, Betsy Ross Bridge and the Commodore Barry Bridge.
