Stockton University Gala Set for April 25

Stockton University’s 35th annual scholarship benefit gala is set for Saturday, April 25, 6:30 p.m. This year, guests will be able to circulate and enjoy live entertainment and special menus in each of four spaces at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club, 401 South New York Road in Galloway.

The gala will feature dueling pianos in one room, an acoustic duo in another, a string quartet that plays everything from classics to classic rock, and a high-energy cover band for dancing. Seating will be available in each of the four rooms.

A fifth room will be dedicated to the silent auction, where a mobile bidding option will enable bidders to use their smartphones to place bids if desired for the first time.

“Scholarships are the key to helping many students complete their distinctive Stockton educations,” Stockton University President Herman Saatkamp said. “Each year the community shows its generosity and commitment to our young people’s future by supporting the Gala. Through the gala and other fundraising efforts, the Stockton Foundation was able to award over $700,000 in scholarships this year.”

Dr. Howard and Gayle Gross are the Summa Cum Laude sponsor, while Magna Cum Laude sponsors include: the Azeez Foundation, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Chartwells, Dr. Jo Frances Stow, the Follett Higher Education Group and the Gomes Family.
