Stockton University to Host Junior Achievement Workshop for Area High School Students
It takes place Tuesday, Dec. 1.

The Junior Achievement Career Success workshop is being offered to 75 students from area high schools.
The program is offered by Junior Achievement of New Jersey, the Stockton Center for Economic and Financial Literacy, and the Stockton Office of Service-Learning on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Campus Center Event Room A on the main Galloway campus of Stockton University, 101 Vera King Farris Drive.
Stockton University student volunteers will serve as workshop facilitators.

This interactive, one-day event helps high school students develop valuable skills necessary to achieve career success. The students will learn how to conduct a job search, respond to common interview questions, and build their personal brand.
Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization that, with the help of over 218,000 volunteers, offers volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills.

The Stockton Center for Economic and Financial Literacy promotes financial capabilities. Financial capabilities—the ability to provision for oneself, one’s household, and one’s community—is crucial to local, state, and national business and economic development and sustainability.
The Stockton Office of Service-Learning provides Stockton students, faculty, staff and community partners with opportunities to engage in “Service with a Purpose.”
