Student Performers Wanted For Ocean City Theatre Co. This Summer
Students are invited to audition for OCTC's summer productions of "Mean Girls" and "Legally Blonde Jr."

OCEAN CITY, NJ — As the Ocean City Theatre Company gears up for its 16th Anniversary Season of educational and professional theatre, it's encouraging students who love musical theatre to audition for two summer shows.
The OCTC Junior Company, which closely follows the structure of OCTC's professional company, is holding its casting process for students in 5th through 12th grades (as of fall 2023) on May 6 and 7 by appointment only.
These Junior Company productions feature two iconic movies turned into Broadway musicals: "Mean Girls: High School Edition" and "Legally Blonde Jr."

Adapted from Tina Fey's hit 2004 film, "Mean Girls" was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards. This queen-bee took Broadway by storm and has joined the musical in-crowd.
"Mean Girls: High School Edition" is open to students in 9th grade through 12th grade as of September 2023. Current high school seniors/members of the Class of 2023 are also eligible to audition. Performances will be held at the Ocean City Music Pier on July 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m.

"Legally Blonde Jr.," based on the award-winning Broadway musical and the hit motion picture, is a fabulously fun journey of self-empowerment and expanding horizons.
"Legally Blonde Jr." is open to 5th through 8th grade students as of September 2023. Performances will be held at the Ocean City Music Pier on August 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m.
