Students Express Themselves Through Fashion
The Ocean City Primary School PTA organized a fashion show for the students of OCPS.
Thirty students lined the stage at the Primary School Friday night to express themselves in their best fashions.
The energetic bunch strutted their best outfits to popular music in front of three dozen people; family and friends. The proceeds of the event went to the PTA for future funding of events.
"I like to schedule many events for the winter and the slow season. There is little to do, so I hope more people come out to our events," says Cecilia Gallelli, PTA President.

The event cost $3 to get in and included refreshments afterwards. The main purpose for the event was to have the kids feel good about themselves and feel confident.
Parents were proud of their children.

"My daughter, Kathryn, is in the beach scene and my son Christian is the Chicago Cubs baseball player," enthusiastic mother Aimee James said.
The five categories of the show included Rock Stars, Princesses, Beach, Sports, and Western. Students performed in more than one category and showed that they had diverse personalities.
