Submissions For Photography Contest Will Open in March

Get your shutter fingers and editing software ready, photographers—the Ocean City Arts Center is holding their Annual Juried Photography Show and they are looking for submissions.

Photographers of all levels of experience are invited to submit as many as four entries at $15 each between March 12 and 27. The photographs selected by judges will be on display in the Arts Center's main gallery from April 1 to April 30. Some pieces may be on sale, as well.

Five photographers will be awarded cash prizes in the amounts of $200 for best of show, $150 for second place, $100 for third place, and $50 each for two honorable mentions. Winners will receive their awards at a reception on Friday, April 13, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Entries must be framed with glass or plexi-glass, hand-delivered to the Arts Center, and must be ready to be hanged. For more information on the contest, including application forms, see the Ocean City Arts Center website.
