Suspicious Package Discovered At Caesars Atlantic City A False Alarm [UPDATED]

A suspicious package that was discovered around 2 p.m. Tuesday at Caesars Atlantic City has been declared a false alarm, The Press of Atlantic City reports.

Four of the casino's employees were quarantined after being exposed to a brown powder that was inside the package, according to the report. There were also pills wrapped in tape inside the package. The employees were not injured, and were released around 4 p.m.

The casino remained open while the Atlantic City Fire Department and emergency responders investigated to the see if the substance was dangerous, according to the report. The investigation and the testing of the substance were wrapped up around 4 p.m.

The package was on the fourth floor, according to breakingac.com. The executive offices are located on the fourth floor.
