Swimming Ban Remains In Effect As Ocean City Remains Under Tropical Storm Warning: Mayor
Jay Gillian also warned about possible flooding during high tides on Monday.

Ocean City, NJ -- Although Hermine is taking a track farther out into the Atlantic Ocean than originally predicted, the ocean remains closed for swimming, and Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian advised residents and visitors not to disregard the temporary ban in a statement Sunday afternoon.
"Ocean City remains under a tropical storm warning, and the threat of street flooding continues through high tide cycles at 11:32 a.m. Monday and 11:40 p.m. Monday," Gillian said. "I want to encourage residents and guests to closely monitor weather conditions and be prepared to move vehicles from low-elevation streets that typically experience flooding. Our FAQ includes more detail on safe places to park."
He said rough surf and strong currents from the storm make conditions extremely dangerous.
