TD Bank Robbed In Ocean City Thursday Afternoon; Police Searching For Robber

The robbery took place just after 1 p.m. Photos of the robber are attached.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City Police are searching for a man who robbed the TD Bank on the 100 block of Ninth Street Thursday afternoon.

The police received a bank hold-up alarm at 1:06 p.m. The robber handed the bank teller a note indicating he had a gun and demanding money. He then left the bank in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.

Despite the robber saying he had a gun, the bank teller didn’t see a weapon at any point during the robbery, and no one was injured. Photos of the man are attached to this post.

At this time an investigation is being conducted by the FBI, Cape May County Prosecutors Office, Cape May County Sheriff’s Office and the Ocean City Police Department.
