These Ocean City School Administrators Earn More Than $150K
Here is a list of how much the top-paid Ocean City school administrators made in 2019.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — Making $150,000 or more is no longer uncommon for New Jersey school administrators. More than 1,500 superintendents and principals made $150,000 or more in 2019 — barely any earned that much a decade ago.
The Department of Education recently released its annual list of superintendents and principals and their salaries before the start of the 2019-20 school year. Last year, fewer than 1,000 principals and superintendents made $150,000 a year.
About 10,000 teachers earn six-figure salaries as well. But it's also a small fraction of the more than 100,000 people who are teachers and administrators in public and charter schools in this state.

The Department of Education has said the department double-checks the data before delivering it to the media.
